Winnipeg, MB. July 29, 2024 – Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the Well-being Curriculum Learning Scholarship, an initiative aimed at empowering professionals with the tools and knowledge to improve both their personal and workplace well-being.

In response to the rising levels of stress, anxiety, burnout, and illnesses that are becoming increasingly prevalent in today's fast-paced society, the curriculum training offers a comprehensive well-being framework based on wellness competencies, micro skills, mindset shit, and habit forming to address these issues head-on.

Key Highlights of the Well-being Curriculum Funded Training

  • Holistic Approach: The curriculum covers critical aspects of well-being, on optimizing all nine dimensions of life to build mental health, physical fitness, emotional resilience, and social connections.
  • World Class Instructors: Led by Joyce Odidison, Founder of the Well-being Curriculum framework, and author of seven books including soon to be released, "The Well-being Curriculum book," participants will benefit from her extensive expertise and holistic approach. Joyce is President of Interpersonal Wellness Services Inc.
  • Neuroscience Based Framework: The curriculum dives into the neuroscience of well-being and provides a well-researched framework to help clients or employees improve their wellness and happiness.

From demanding jobs and family responsibilities to the constant barrage of digital information, finding peace and happiness can seem elusive. The Well-being Curriculum Training aims to tackle these challenges head-on by providing comprehensive, evidence-based strategies to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being”.

The Well-being Curriculum Learning Scholarship addresses these challenges by offering evidence-based strategies to enhance overall well-being.

The program is highly selective, accepting only 20 students each year to ensure personalized attention. Ideal candidates include mid-career professionals such as teachers, trainers, HR practitioners, coaches, and consultants.

The application process is straightforward and requires details about the applicant’s professional background, motivation, goals, community impact plans, and financial need. References are also needed to attest to the applicant’s commitment to well-being and potential for success. Responses are provided within 30 days.

The next 8-week blended learning cohorts are scheduled for August 25, and November 15, 2024. Graduates and new cohort members will celebrate their achievements at the 7th Annual Global Workplace Wellness Summit virtual event.

Additionally, the scholarship offers two corporate program implementation pilots for nonprofit organizations to incorporate aspects of the Well-being Curriculum framework.
