When Leadership Is the Constraint, the Whole Organization Feels It
Team strain is not always caused by workload, personalities, or change. Sometimes the data reveals that how leadership pressure is landing is the source. Relational Resilience Leadership Coaching™ is a research-backed program that addresses leadership behaviour at the root, grounded in resilience data and delivered at scale.

The Problem
The Pattern Nobody Wants to Name
When the same issues keep appearing across multiple teams under the same leader, it is rarely a coincidence. When high performers start leaving, when engagement drops in one division while others hold steady, when complaints cluster around the same leadership group, there is a pattern.
Most organizations address this with generic leadership development: communication workshops, emotional intelligence training, 360 reviews. These programs build awareness, and awareness alone does not change the relational patterns that are creating strain below the surface.
The reason is that most leadership programs treat behaviour in isolation. They ask leaders to communicate better, listen more, manage differently. They do not address what is driving the behaviour in the first place: where the leader’s own resilience is depleted, which dimensions are under pressure, and how that depletion is landing on the people they lead.
That is the gap Relational Resilience Leadership Coaching™ was built to close.
What Makes This Different
Coaching Grounded in Data, Not Assumptions
This is not a personality assessment followed by a debrief. It is not a workshop on leadership styles. It is a structured coaching program that begins with the WIS® Resilience Intelligence Platform, so the coaching is calibrated to what the data reveals about the leader and the teams they are affecting.
It starts with Resilience Mapping. Before any coaching begins, the leader completes a full diagnostic across nine dimensions: Spiritual, Social, Emotional, Occupational, Intellectual, Environmental, Financial, Physical, and Interpersonal. The Resilience Index Report shows exactly where their capacity is strong, where it is eroding, and which patterns are most likely creating downstream pressure on their teams.
The coaching addresses the relational impact of leadership, not just the skills. A leader may know how to communicate effectively and still create strain because of how their own depletion is showing up in their interactions. Relational Resilience Leadership Coaching works at that level, addressing the connection between the leader’s internal state and the external impact on their people.
The program is built to scale. This is not one-leader-at-a-time executive coaching. It is a model designed for delivery across entire leadership teams, departments, and organizations. Over 10,000 leaders have been trained through this program across government, aerospace, education, and corporate sectors.

How It Works
From Diagnosis to Sustained Leadership Change
Phase 1: Map
Each leader completes WIS® Resilience Mapping. The Resilience Index Report identifies where depletion is concentrated and which dimensions are creating the most pressure on the leader’s relational capacity. This gives the coaching a precise starting point rather than a general curriculum.
Phase 2: Coach
Structured coaching sessions address the specific patterns the data revealed. Leaders develop practical micro-skills for managing how pressure lands on their teams, rebuilding trust where it has eroded, and sustaining relational capacity under sustained demand. The coaching is grounded in the Currency of Resilience Framework and the 12 Resilience Currencies.
Phase 3: Sustain
Leadership change only holds when there is accountability and reinforcement. Follow-up sessions, team check-ins, and resilience data reviews ensure the behavioural shifts are sustained over time rather than fading after the coaching engagement ends.
Best For
This Page Is for You If You Are Seeing
The same team issues appearing across multiple groups under the same leadership. High performers leaving while underperformers stay, and the common thread is leadership behaviour. Leaders who are technically competent and relationally creating strain. Post-intervention situations where the team was stabilized and leadership patterns need to shift to prevent recurrence. A leadership team under sustained pressure where the way they are absorbing or distributing that pressure is becoming the constraint on organizational performance.
Delivered At Scale

This program was developed by Joyce Odidison, M.A., MCC, CTDP, a Conflict Analyst and Master Certified Coach with 28 years of experience. The training model is approved by the International Coaching Federation for ACTSTH hours and SHRM PDC’s.
Province of Manitoba
Hundreds of leaders across provincial departments strengthened communication, morale, and leadership confidence at scale
StandardAero
125 engineering and executive leaders trained in relational resilience in a high-pressure aerospace environment where leadership strain directly impacts safety and production.
Miami University
A one-year pilot funded by Ohio State University produced a 75% improvement in staff morale and mental health outcomes. The model remains in active use across 75 schools in Ohio.

WIS® Resilience Index
Start with the Data
If leadership is the constraint, the coaching needs to begin with a clear picture of where the pressure is concentrated and how it is landing on the teams below. Resilience Mapping gives you that picture so the coaching is precise from day one.
