Where do You Have Control?

There are some things we have no control over, such as dying, contracting the flu, losing a loved one or an act of God.

We do have some control over our diet and exercise and other health choices to reduce our susceptibility to diseases. We also have control over our careers if we believe we take control.

This year, I want to invite you make a list of the things you think you have control of and those you think you don’t and share them here. I want to be able to respond to you and maybe help you question a belief or two about what you do and don’t have control over.

My reason for doing this is simple, we tell ourselves that this year is going to be the same as every other year and that we are going to do the same thing and end up with the same results and we are going to weigh the same or more or earn the same amount or heaven forbid even less, because we don’t control the circumstances. Well, I want to tell help you question what you can and cannot manifest in your life this year..

I have taken every step to ensure that I get all that I desire in this year and I know you can do so too. I promise to help you identify at least one new thing you can control in your life.

Now I know taking control means taking all the risks and not having anyone to blame, that’s the beauty of life. We take the risks and we get the results.

So, let me know if you want to stand up and say I do this year and I will partner with you to identify one more area of your life you can take ownership of. Its surprising how simple it is and how easy it is to give up control of our life and our future. I urge you to let this be the year you say no more and take ownership for another area of your life.

Don’t compromise with my meals or else I end up suffering needlessly, a great way to foster a victim mentality.

I am running Mastery this year to help you develop the skills you need to extend your success. Sometimes all we need is to tweak our skills to help us on our way to success.

I look forward to reading the things you are going to take ownership even if your knees shake and you wobble, go ahead and do it, you will not forget how it feels to take your life in your hands. Its risky, daring and oh, so darn much fun you wouldn’t want it any other way. Oh! you also learn to have a lot of faith!

I can’t wait to hear what you are going to take as your own this year. You can take a big step or a small step. It's up to you. Meet me on the other side.

Join me here on Mastery to work on a competency that you need to move your forward.

To Your Wellness,

Joyce
