Is Something in the Way of You having a Happy Holidays Season?
As I write this blog, I think of people busy shopping, picking up last minute gift items, decorating and cooking, sharing laughter with friends and loved ones. I also know that this is not the reality for everyone. It may not be the reality for you. It may be that you are not on speaking terms with friends and loved ones. You may be going through a divorce, mourning the loss of a loved one or experiencing betrayal and disappointment in someone you once trusted. it may be that you don’t have family or friends and you are very lonely right now. No matter what your situation, I want to encourage you to find something for which to have a happy holidays season.
You can also book a last-minute coaching session with one of our coaches to help you through a difficult time over the holidays. Complete the questionnaire here.
Your happiness is something you are going to have to commit to, no matter what is going on around you. Life is tough and sometimes it isn’t fair but I know you will need to find a way to create a happy holiday season for yourself and for your future. Imagine coming to the end of your life only to realize you let circumstances outside your control dictate your future happiness. I have had some pretty amazing moments in my life and I have had some heartaches and through it all I have learned to trust and hope and most of all to choose to be grateful and happy for my life.
Take some time this holiday season and lend a hand to someone, reach out to a neighbor, attend a service or do a kind deed for someone it will help to add a smile to your heart, no matter your situation and who knows, it may help you to have a happy holidays season.
