Course Name: Critical Conversations on DEIW

Course Overview: This Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Interpersonal Well-being (DEIW) certificate program is designed for cohorts of leadership teams, management teams and employee groups to examine critical aspects of diversity, equity, inclusion, and interpersonal relationships in their workplaces to optimize team performance and well-being.

Course Description: This course will explore how to hold critical conversations around the underlying fears, uncertainties, threats, assumptions that become a barrier to diversity and inclusion. It will create a safe place to discuss these assumptions without incrimination, while providing new perspectives to shift mindsets and attitudes toward positive actions that will sustain diversity and inclusive measures at work in communities.

• A critical conversation framework for diversity
• Exploring negative fears and assumptions towards
diversity and inclusion
• Explore privilege perspectives and mindset towards
inclusive actions
• Identify threats and uncertainties that may be a barrier
to inclusive actions
