Developing Conversational Skills in Coaching
Conversations are what makes the coaching process so effective. Every great coach knows the importance of an insightful conversation. The thrill that comes being engaged in a synergistic, rhythmic, insightful and intuitive dialogue.
In our new course on developing Coaching Conversation Skills, we take a look at the skills necessary to co-create a powerful conversation. This course gives learners an opportunity to reflect on their conversing habits, acknowledge their strengths, models, their techniques and actions and what they need to do to enhance their conversations.
We also explore advanced conversation skills, strategies to co-create powerful conversations, creating synergy in conversation, engagement, curiosity, exploration, agreement and insights.
We look at the role of inquiry in conversations and using powerful questions to enhance conversations. We will also look at our own patterns of conversations, what helps us move further in our conversation, go deeper, and gain more awareness and insight in our conversations? We also try to answer the question: Why are some conversations so powerful and others not so good?
Learners will have the opportunity to dissect their conversational skills and identify areas for growth and development, gain skills to improve their conversations, become more conscious of the conversation details and practice conversational success skills.
